Baba’s restaurant Chandigarh
Baba’s restaurant is designed based on the architectural styles of rural havelis , the traditional townhouses of Punjab.
Local stone masons and artisans were employed to put the finishing touches to the rustic charm of this restaurant and bar, which fuses traditional style with modern aesthetics to create a stylish warm dining environment.
The entrance alley is created using local mud and plaster.
The bar and restaurant are decorated with local terracotta pots and vases which are layered to mirror the layering of textures throughout.

KoCo
KoCo restaurant brought an old 150-year-old home back to life. Its architects STAPATI brought a unique building into the present and provided the local community with a quirky new eatery and bar.
The site was thoroughly planned to make the most of its benefits. It was crucial to incorporate abundant natural light into the design. The spaces were strategically arranged, with minimal alterations made to the original structure by removing a small section of the roof and some walls. This allowed for the flow of natural daylight into the surrounding areas and provided advantages to adjacent zones.
The interior is furnished with materials that reflect the lightness of the space. Chairs are simple wireframe that keeps in character with the simple design aesthetic, while concrete and steel link the past tot he present.

The Elgin Cafe restaurant and bar
Designed and built by Renesa Architecture Design Interiors Studio, this restaurant and bar could easily be found in London or New York and is easily one of the most beautiful restaurants in India.
The property acts as a chic daytime bistro and a modern vibrant bar in the evening. The all-pervading rich green tones are meant to feel like the outside, surrounded by nature, flavours and good conversation.
Designed with locally sourced materials, the entire space reflects Udaipur green stone with fluted members. You can see Madagascan green and pale greens contrasted with salmon-coloured seating.
With its very social media-friendly decor it’s very popular with locals in Amristar.
Elgin cafe restaurant and bar features a generous selection of classic Italian dishes along with the rustic, authentic flavours of Amritsar.

Cosmo Deli & Bistro Bar
After an initial visit to Solan, the Exubia studio design team came up with a vibrant pastel eatery. The interior is washed throughout in bold pastel paints.
“The intent throughout the project was to wash anything and everything in the color,” says Exubia principal architect Imaan Singh Bhullar. “The main inspiration behind choosing these colors was the soothing effect that these pastel shades imbued in the space.”
Cosmo Deli & Bistro Bar serves a variety of food from different international cuisines.

MISU Restaurant
Misu Restaurant is a contemporary quirky interpretation of a restaurant housed within a church. A restaurant serving Japanese and Sout Eat Asia cuisine in an intimate atmosphere.
Designed by FADD studio this 145 m² restaurant is meant to push the ideas of what an Asian restaurant should be or should look like. With stained glass windows and arched ceilings the restaurant feels modern and elegant but conncected to something older more meaningful.

Qualia Restaurant
Considered one of the cooled restaurants in India, Qualia at the time of writing doesnt seem to be open, which is a great shame given the great reviews it was getting for not just the food but also the interior of this Mumbai based fine dining experience.
Designed by Serie architects, Qualia was conceived as a stage for the art of cooking. The restaurant was designed to increase the sensual qualities of the dining , from the tastes and aromas of the food to the theatre of cooking as the chefs created each dish.
